This is a collection of recordings from Valdez, Alaska at Allison Point and the Solomon Gulch Hatchery on Prince William Sound. Valdez is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been! The steep mountains that surround the bay creates a unique and fascinating sound environment. You will hear families fishing for pink and silver salmon as they make their run to the hatchery as well as sea birds, walruses, fishing boats and single prop engine planes. Together these sounds make up beautiful and exciting soundscapes that captures Summer by the sea in Alaska. Thank you for listening!
